richard lubrich, tobey, felix and i were over at dave's place on russell avenue one summer afternoon, circa 1997, sometime before the "art hostages" exhibition (which richard organized) at the spanish kitchen.  i remember we just sat around just shooting the breeze and dave just got a little trigger happy with his 35 mm slr and took some shots, the above, was one of them. i found this pix together with SNAPSHOTS of the "closing of the onyx cafe" party that occurred early part of 1999.
